The course on Gender-Responsive STEM education is tailored for teachers of STEM subjects drawn from African countries. It is a build up of what began in 2016 when CEMASTEA in partnership with UNESCO-IICBA launched the first course for teachers from ten African countries held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The course is designed as a hands-on and minds-on experience with a focus on equipping teachers with skills to teach STEM subjects while responding to the needs of the learners especially girls.
The webinar targets educators form Kenya and other African countries.
